Cute independently run pub with amazing food, can recommend the coronation chicken sandwich and all the drink on tap tastes great. Great aesthetic too!
Came in again recently and we were blown away by the food and the drink, so so much on offer on tap could spend all day there and then carefully stumble home after trying it all! And WOW the burgers were absolutely amazing and the value too!! We were stuffed after having our £10.50 burgers I wished I could have eaten another right after, I will be back! Staff are always friendly too.

Stopped in for a beer on the way home from town. Lovely staff and well kept beer. They have two beer garden areas, one overlooking the canal and the other at the back of the pub. Will be back to try food when the weather gets nicer!

Friendly staff greeted us and the dog with equal warmth. Clean and warm with a range of seating inside, and out.
Food was freshly prepared and delicious main courses and deserts. I opted for one of their impressive range of hot chocolates and was very impressed.
If we'd had more time we would have indulged in one of the board games available.

One of the best pubs in the city centre. Chilled atmosphere. Great selection of beers. Been one of my favourites for years.

Had a lovely Sunday roast beef at the Navagation Inn. Food was lovely and good quality. Thicker cuts of beef would have been preferred (as personal preference). Highly recommend the Stilton and bacon chips. Guinness was thin, not doubt to end of barrel, great service also.

I love this bar. We popped in off the train before my works Xmas party.
Had a lovely drink and chat with (who I presume was) the owner. Definitely adding it to the list of must visit bars the next time we go drinking

Great pub for good food, beer and company. The history is interesting and situated on the canal llock makes for interesting conversation. We'll worth a visit.

I was exploring Nottingham and saw this place on google reviews as it was near to me visiting the oldest inn / castle area.
Insanely good value food (£6 burger!), cool music, friendly staff, and a good beer selection of cask and draft.
Can’t go wrong, especially in the heatwave at my time of writing this. 5*

A very cosy pub with a great selection of drinks and very kind friendly staff. I have been here a few times now over the years and it seems to get better everytime i visit. The outdoor seating is the perfect place to sit and relax with a drink and watch the boats go by and i eill definitely be back, i would also encourage everyone to try it out at some point.

Popped in on a whim for some late lunch, we hadn't been in since the revamp inside and wow! It looks beautiful with a great atmosphere. The food was excellent, incredible value and really delicious. Can't wait to come back :)
