Beautiful peaceful place with a cafe with fabulous food and drinks. Loads of places to sit inside or out with a waitress service, lovely. Followed by a stroll around the remains of the priory. A truly dog friendly place, although it must be kept on lead because of the farm animals. They are also allowed in the cafe. Top notch!
Had a great afternoon walking around the grounds. Was fortunate enough to bump into Tony who was very generous with his time & knowledge of the area. The Tea Room was literally the icing on the cake and is a must visit.
A hidden gem of a place down a single track road, it has accomodation and holds weddings too apparently! I just went for lunch 😁 I had the greens and grains salad with chicken breast and the portion size was HUGE! Plus it came with lovely fresh bread …
Lovely cafe with outdoor seating too. Friendly staff, well-behaved dogs welcome. Mushroom soup was best I’ve ever had - clearly homemade with quality ingredients. Mega sausage roll was awesome too. And so was almond cake. The full tea set - cakes and sandwiches - looks excellent but we didn’t try it.
