Berkshire Country Store

Went here for lunch one day looking forward to a deli roast beef sandwich. It was a HUGE disappointment: stale store packaged roll, mass sliced American cheese, and while the roast beef was ok, it wasn’t the best cut. My family’s meatball sandwich and turkey sandwiches were good. However, roast beef on a roll is a deli classic and they fell well short.

This quaint little country store offers everything you need and more. The staff working here are extremely kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating and above all, safe by the ways and means of businesses these days. I'd recommend stopping by this spot if you're in the area, or using it as a go-to if you're local.

This is a nice little place to get snacks. They usually have ice cream, so we went here while we were in the area to find they were out of it. They were open, but you could not go in. Another thing that was a little odd is due to the Covid-19 situation, they are not taking cash. I understand the health concerns and safety precautions, but not taking cash is a little ridiculous to me. Not everyone has or wants to use a credit card. The former is the real concern. I was prepared to use a credit card, but being out of ice cream was the deal breaker. The young woman who greeted us was nice, as was the location. I can't say too much about the inside as you can only go as far as the entrance as the whole store is basically blocked off.
