The store seemed crowded with smaller aisles and not a lot of room. The coffee selection was limited and while nothing was too dirty, it wasn’t too clean. The music was loud, but I appreciate that it was the radio versions with many of the foul words removed. This is certainly a college stop and not good selection for a convenience store for others.

11/16/21 at about 23:45 the lady at the front counter tried to withhold a drivers license from me. Mind you that’s actually theft, if you don’t want to give me service cause you can’t tell if it’s real that’s fine. But withholding property and telling me the police would have to come get it back is illegal. Your not an officer your job is to sell goods. Get a hold of yourselves and learn how to properly train your employees...they seem to be on a power trip. There is no excuse for how I was treated in this store last night. I would think twice before bringing any hard earned money to this establishment.

Not to bad but, you know every 7-11 is different. This one is kept up pretty well for being next to ODU. You think there would be all kinds of trash and things for all the foot traffic but nope.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a 7-11 location. They stole my money and refused to give me a refund, “cause the manager ain’t in right now and we can’t help you”. I asked clearly for a specific tobacco product, cashier rang me out then put the wrong product up on the counter, told her she gave me the completely wrong product and asked to please ring me out for what I asked for, and then proceeded to get an attitude and be rude to me, for her mistake! Left the store with $17 charged, no product, and no attempt to fix their mistake. Wow. Will be contacting corporate and my bank for fraud. Oh and the cashier had her mask pulled down around her neck, whole face out, chowing down on Chinese food. Nasty.

This is the closest 7-11 situated right next to the ODU campus. So convenient and lovely. I stop here literally every time I come to the campus. It's great that in the morning if I haven't had my coffee yet I can just grab a quick cup on my way to the Perry library. I also enjoy many of there other convenience products as well. I most frequently get the chilled pickles and/or the Sargento balanced breaks. The critique that I have is about the coffee. In my opinion it's not hot enough. That's either because I walk all the way to the library before consuming my beverage, or they are not changing out the coffee on a periodic basis. It's a shame because I love coffee. Other than they are doing a fine job. Who doesn't love coffee right? I know I do.

Not the largest 7-11, nor does it have the best selection, but you can always rely on it to be open and acceptably clean. Gotta hand it to the folks who work here. They put up with a lot of crap from customers from the University, but are still quite fast to check you out. Unfortunately, there is no gas station, but if you drive down Colley Avenue, then you'll find a self-service station at another 7-11

Just got out of there after overpaying for a Bang. Lady told me $2.76. I gave her $3 and she said I was short a penny. Obviously I was confused since I clearly gave her $3 but she just acted impatient. Brushed me off saying “You good and you’re welcome” as I left.
