7-eleven

I like the 7-Eleven most of the time. Their store is a little bigger than some others in my area. The employees are usually friendly and helpful. The reason I'm giving them three stars instead of five it's because of support customer service I got today. I went there because I found them on GasBuddy that's the cheapest gas in my area right now. I went in to pay for my gas and grab a snack for my dog who is patiently waiting in my Jeep protecting it from danger and Mayhem while I was inside. I told the lady I wanted to pay cash to fill up on pump 8. She responded there was someone on pump 8 already, and I politely pointed out the window and said no one is at pump 8. She realized I was correct and then I explain to her that I was not at the pump yet I was parked right out front. And before I got a chance to finish she said she doesn't like doing that because someone else may pull up to the pump and all that. I was very frustrated that she had not let me finish and at that point I just left my merchandise and said have a good day. My dog was in my Jeep what's the windows rolled down it's warm outside I did not want to leave him locked inside with the windows up, and I am disabled due to a back injury that I cannot stand nor walk for short periods of time. I only had cash with me and I couldn't walk more than 10 ft without having to sit down. Besides the fact that it doesn't matter if she likes doing that or not I'm the customer and the customer is right and if she doesn't like doing her job she needs to find someplace else that don't mind rude customer service people by the Chesapeake animal center. She would fit right in there.

I'm only giving this 7-11 two stars is bc of the staff. They are ALWAYS the best! However, the "convenience" of coming to this store for gas is a no-go bc you have to go inside to pay. What's the point of having CC machines on the pump if they never work? OR not having enough gas and having to move to another pump, then having to go inside again...and wait in line AGAIN! I haven't stopped at this store for gas since I was late for work the 3rd time!
