I had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed zucchini and broccoli, garden salad with creamy Italian dressing. Unsweetened ice tea with a lemon slice. All were excellent! The flavors were bright and very fresh. The waitress was cordial and friendly. I have high praise for the Chef!

Personally this place holds a special place in my heart since it was just a delicatessen years ago. Took my son there when we went back to visit family just so I could personally let him indulge in the greatest breakfast sandwich ever made. This place has the most delicious food along with a welcoming staff and sets an outstanding personable hometown feel in a restaurant that anyone could ask for!

It was an okay diner experience. I had a tuna club sandwich and the tuna was a bit dry. The portion was reasonable but you don't get fries with the sandwich. Others I ate with felt their food was decent but lackluster. I'm sure I'll eat there again but I'm not going out of my way to get there. If you need a decent meal and you're in the area, I would still recommend it, just not as my first choice.

Fresh ingredients, great food, service with a smile:-) reasonable prices. Stools at the counter, booths, plenty of parking. It was packed the whole time we were there and the service was still excellent. Blueberry pancakes delish!

We love Kathy’s! We have been coming here about twice a week since we moved to Fredon over ten years ago. Their fries are the best anywhere! I brought a friend from India and she said she had her best meal in all of America at Kathy’s! A great place, where the people treat you like friends, and the food (Florentine omelettes and tuna melts, yum!) is always great).

We've been eating at Kathy's for 10 years or so and I've never had a bad meal here. Menu ranges from standard diner fare to some great daily specials. Seafood, in particular, is always great, which I wouldn't expect from a family diner in rural NWNJ. Service can be spotty, but is usually pretty good. One of our favorite restaurants.

You can get anything you want from breakfast lunch and dinner. All meals are fabulous and delicious. The Waitresses are very nice and always have a big smiles on their faces. When you want good food, try Kathy's Restaurant! You'll be glad you did.

The choice I made on the specials menu was very good. I was very happy with it. Service was good considering we bombarded them with about 10 people in our party. We'll definitely go again next time we're in town!
