Stopped in at about three o'clock in the afternoon so there wasn't as wide of a doughnut selection as I was expecting, but the ones we did get were very delicious. They have a few tables and an old school diner bar for seating. The woman behind the counter was very nice and the prices were good. Definitely glad that we stopped here to fulfill our sweet tooth. The sign said that they were open 24 hours, so I could definitely see myself stopping here for late night munchies if I lived in the area.

Meh, it's okay donuts here. We ordered a dozen (13 donuts) for really good deal. We had the staff pick half a dozen for us. I think I enjoyed the peanut one the most and that was like a day after we got it. The jammed ones are just way too sweet for us but it should be great with a cup of coffee. I'd rather go elsewhere but it's definitely a cheaper option if you're craving for some donuts.

This place brings back memories of driving down to West Virginia to visit my family...
Yes, it's an older donut shop. Yes, they have patience while you look at the dozens and dozens of jolly filled donuts. You can sit down with a jug of milk or bottle of water. Order yourself some coffee and just enjoy the morning. Or take it to go and share it with the family. It doesn't matter how eat them, just enjoy them when you do because there aren't many Jolly Pirates left.

Donuts were great! Ordered 2 days in advance and was ready exactly when I wanted it. Made moving so much easier when you don't have to worry about feeding the crew!

"Great"selection of donuts & specialties like Apple Fritters, Long Johns, etc. I call ahead to order extra "crispy" Apple Fritters..my fav.
Dine in or pick up. You can also call & order ahead..your order will be ready at time you designate.. pay when picking up. Everyone is friendly & helpful.

The best apple fritters in the world are made fresh 2x a day, but they go quickly. Open 24 hours a day! Only closed Christmas and Thanksgiving. Nice people running it. Plenty of doughnut varieties for everyone. Good coffee ☕ and conversation if you eat in. Baking times are 4am and 4pm. It's right near the railroad tracks on 30th street...hard to drive by without dropping in. :)

Holly Pirate is amazing. Stop in any time of day and you're bound to meet someone who knew the town "way back when" and walk out with a short local history lesson and a dozen donuts that make Krispy look like amateur bull$hit ❤️❤️❤️
