Afghan Village

Came here for lunch, never seen this place before and was in the mood to try something other than fast food. Best choice food choice I have made all week. The facility is clean, the staff is super nice, and the food is the best Afghan Food I have tasted in quite sometime. They have some great tasting lunch items as well as formal dinner items and the environment is super classy and very clean.

This place is the gold standard for Afghani food in the Bay. The qabili pillau, lamb tikka and shami kabob are excellent. I eat here two to three times a week, very healthy, very clean thanks to the new owners. The food here is essentially homecooked at scale. No shortcuts, no stinginess, just quality ingredients and seasoned cooking. They take care of the establishment like it's their home. Btw if you have Hyderabadi genes in your blood then try the Shor Nakhud appetizer ... you're welcome ;-) Add-On: The Mantu here will leave you speechless. Hats off to the owners for building such a wonderful establishment. There is nothing like it in the Bay.

The food is good here but the lady working here is the worst employee i can say ! been here for pick up and she yelled at me very badly saying that i have to break the fast, why you came now ????. which is not at all acceptable in this type of business ! i was there for my pick up @ ON TIME !! she is very rude employee. Used to go maiwamd kebab house frequently and i know the owner who is very sweet person, but people like such employee ruin the reputation!! strongly don't recommend my friends here !!
