Taverna

I was in town for the night during a road trip and this restaurant was a great find! Their cocktails were amazing and everything we ordered was super tasty! Our waiter was super nice and had awesome recommendations for us. The sun dried tomato oil that came with the bread was incredibly delicious and made in house!

My boyfriend took me here for our 1 year anniversary dinner about a week or so ago and we had the BEST experience ever! All the staff at Taverna are very friendly and welcoming. Our server was very attentive and knew the menu very well. She offered a sweet potato soup special and instantly sold me with her descriptions. By the way, it was DELICIOUS! I ordered carbonara and fried mozzarella and it was perfect! My boyfriend ordered salmon and he said the sauce was one of the best sauces he has EVER had! He also order fried calamari and it was my first time ever trying calamari and I am now a fan! At the end of our meal, our sever brought out a slice of cheesecake (my favorite!) with a sparkler on it and wished us a happy anniversary. That was very thoughtful and I appreciated it so much. I HIGHLY recommend dining at Taverna. The service and environment is unmatched. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for such an amazing dinner for my special night, Taverna.💛

My husband and I went out with his family. There were 8 of us. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We both ordered the Beef Brasato (see attached pic). The meat melted in your mouth and was on top of risotto. Of what I remember, also ordered at the table was the Carbonara, Hand Cut Fettuccine and a pizza. Wonderful and very attentive staff.

This place is FANCY! But, like college town fancy and not stuffy. Good selection of beers and food - the spaghetti and tomatoes is really really good...and so is their bread and oil...the oil has smashed up sundried tomatoes in it. Jim said the pizza was really good as well. Oh...AND THEY MAKE THEIR OWN LIMONCELLO!

Lovely ambiance and seafood options. Can be customized with additional veggies. Pizza has a thinner crust and there is variety. I ordered the salmon with potatoes and broccoli, it was amazing. The portion sizes are on the higher side, so with an additional antipasti, you'd be really full. They give bread with a yum tomato sauce (I forgot to ask) but I'm pretty sure it's homemade, so that must have gotten us somewhat full before we started our main dish. Love the lighting, charming ambiance in the evening. I ordered my favorite dessert, tiramisu, and my son ordered the canolis. The canolis can be shared by two. I would have liked the tiramisu with more coffee and less sweet but that may just be me. Thanks!
