This is a small and very quaint place. People are very friendly and you won't feel out of place at all. Great tasting pastries, deli sandwiches, pies and coffee made nicely! You can't go wrong in this cafe. It could be crowded in the morning... That alone speaks volumes about the food 😊

Delicious and affordable cash only cafe in Lafayette, close to Seabras supermarket and Ferry street. $11 breakfast for two people. Two salami and cheese sandwiches toasted $3 each, galão (Portuguese coffee with espresso), empanada, and a pão de queijo. Can’t beat these prices anywhere in Newark!!

This cafe has been around for at least 20 years. It is in the heart of the the Ironbound Portuguese community of Newark, NJ. I like to get the classic Taylor, egg & cheese morning sandwich. They have good coffee, lunch specials and a dinner style menu.

Great food, excellent staff....just wish the owners would fix that disgusting awning outside. It's torn and dirty and not very inviting at all. Would be 5 stars but for that awning.

Disgusting, just saw how they wash the forks plates cups etc etc etc no hot water machine the lady was washing with no detergent ,no sponge just water and her hands and to top it off she cleanse them with a dirty kitchen towel. So disgusted never coming back to this place.... what a great place to get a transmission disease 🤮

Down to earth bakery cafe. It’s the kind of place you want to have breakfast daily. Get to mingle with majority Brazilian/Portuguese customers.

Great local bakery, makes good sandwitchs and coffee. There Chicken Chipotle quesadilla lunch special is to die for. Definly worth the trip to pick it.
