Hobnob Corner Restaurant

Proved wrong! I had low expectations for this touristy spot, but the food at Hobnob Corner was delicious. The pot roast sandwich was juicy and tender. The Reuben was better than many NY-style delis, toasted just right with tons of flavor. Most importantly the service was great. Big smiles, attentive and focused on doing a good job. Saw the owner greeting both local folk and out of town visitors with equal enthusiasm. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this restaurant for years prior to this most recent visit. I always remembered this restaurant being a great experience, but not this time. First, the wait is long and you can see people in a line out the door (fall season I get it). Second, the staff demonstrated poor customer service skills (that includes the owner who sits at the front counter counting money the whole time). Third, the food was sub par at best. I ordered a 1/3 pound burger and I ended up getting a baby-size burger slider (picture below). I finished my burger in two bites, and then scavenged my family’s plates for extra food. The prices were high as well, but that’s what you can do when you’re one of the only restaurants in town. I don’t have all bad things to say, but some good things too. First, the interior is very comforting and the outside is pleasing too. Second, the operation hours are great for people who eat later. I will attempt to eat at this restaurant again in the future. Hopefully they will have improved!

Hobnob corner was a great spot in the middle of Nashville IN for lunch. I had the breaded tenderloin sandwich and wow! Perfectly seasoned and perfect consistency. The fries were fresh and delicious as well. The staff were all kind. There were lots of people waiting to be seated but they are quick to turn the tables over. They had a nice assortment of cookies and baked goods at the checkout counter which looked appetizing. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Nashville.

We were very disappointed! Poor customer service, staff was very short and not friendly. We went during lunch time and they were not busy. The food was cold and seemed as if it sat for awhile. We had the pot roast sandwich and the jambalaya, neither are things we would get again. The food is over priced for what you get, we will not go back.
