Hong Kong Restaurant

We love eating here! Everything we’ve tried is delicious! We feel in love with this restaurant & this family when we lived in the neighborhood. Every time we are in town now, we go by to bring plenty of food back home with us. The family that runs this business is super sweet! They are always so nice. And their daughters is so helpful & friendly as well. We can’t wait till we come back to Nashville to get more food. We highly recommend!!

UPDATE: In my first review I mentioned the atmosphere wasn't great. There's only one table, so don't expect to be able to dine in, but as I sit here, happily watching sea turtles glide peacefully on the large TV, listen to the relaxing music, I realize just how much I like this atmosphere! The ceiling light fixture is a "window" with a peaceful sky scene, the digital menu is full of enticing pictures that make it hard to decide which dish to order, and everything is immaculately clean. Not to mention the wonderful aroma as soon as I opened the door! Yes, the atmosphere, like the food and friendly staff, make this my happy place! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Absolutely the best Chinese food I've had in years! I wish I had found this place sooner. I ordered pork wontons, mixed vegetables with chicken, and an egg roll. Everything was delicious and the only negative comment I have is that Google mentions that you can dine in, but there's only one table and the restroom was out of order. Not a detractor, though, since I was ordering takeout, anyway. Will definitely go again!

Won’t be back. Lo mein was dry. Instead of being told to come and get a new order or given a credit I was told the noodle is a “fresh noodle and it sucks up all the juices” looking at other pictures on here the list mein looks juicier. Then I said something about the fried rice being white and they advised their fried rice is white… They basically said it was my boyfriend’s fault that their was no juice in the lo mein. When he came straight from there to our home. A bunch of excuses for $50 worth of BS. Won’t be back! If you enjoy being blamed for their mistakes this is the place for you!

Being from St. Louis, I am very skeptical about other city's Chinese food but this place is GREAT!! Sucks they are closed on Tuesdays (it seems that's when I want to order from them the most) but I highly anticipate Wednesdays lol! I get the house special. Highly recommend, Hong Kong. Best Chinese food on Charlotte Pike. Go get you some good food! The owner staff are the sweetest bunch I've ever met. The food is absolutely fabulous. Go get you some good food today. Highly recommend them can't say too much more but I definitely will be back for more Chinese food from them.

The people working in there were very nice. We came in 1/2 hour before the posted closing time (10:30) and they assured us it was okay to place an order. We asked the girl working the register to give us her favorite and we received a plate of garlic shrimp, my daughter ordered a spicy chicken, and I ordered a Mongolian Style beef too. I watched the cook throw some of the fresh ingredients into the wok. Everything was good, but it was plain food. Plain in a good way. Like a pallet reset but with enough flavor to know its Chinese food.
