Lombardi's Pizza

They slid a flyer under our hotel door advertising for pseudo Veneto's pizza. We went to the address listed and were surprised at the dual names. What is worse we witnessed cashier wipe a bug off the counter and proceed to preparing food. I totally could not believe my eyes. We immediately rescinded order and left establishment.

Buckle up, because this is a long ride. Let me start by saying.. I opened the box of “wings” and thought I was on an episode of Punk’d. What I found in the box was soggy nuggets. Not wings! The pizza was dry and lacking all flavor, including a sufficient amount of cheese and sauce. Large pizza and “wings” plus free “free breadsticks”.. $39. This place is a joke. A total scam of a pizzeria. Never. Again.

Placed an order via GrubHub at 7:45pm with an expected delivery time of 45-55 minutes. At 10:15pm, more than enough time to allow a little late, I called GrubHub to receive a refund as Lombardi didn't answer the phone after several calls, never called me to tell me it would be late/wouldn't be coming at all, or anything. It's now 10:52 and I'm just back from Kroger having had to go out to get food to make dinner. Which was the reason I ordered food for delivery in the first place. Take the advice of all of the other 1 star reviews and order from somewhere, anywhere, else.

If I could give this location negative stars, I would. Two hours after placing my order through Grubhub, I hadn’t seen nor heard anything from my order. I tried calling the restaurant several times and no one answered. I contacted Grubhub and they called for me, but while I was waiting for a resolution, someone from the restaurant itself called me and yelled at me saying, “Why can’t you wait? Don’t you know there’s a $1,000 order we’re working on?!” I told them no, and I only ordered a single pizza two hours prior, “well, that’s too bad, you’re just gonna have to hold on.” And they hung up. Never told me their name, that they were calling from Lombardi’s or anything. I called Grubhub’s customer service line, canceled the order and took my money elsewhere. I’m just glad the people at Grubhub are so helpful and nice. Never ordering from this location ever again.

I've attempted to order from these people twice and both times never received food. If it weren't for GrubHub I would have paid for nothing. They do not answer the phone, they never deliver. Check out the 1,400 reviews on GrubHub, mostly the same story. This review is just a warning to anyone who doesn't use GrubHub.

This place is the biggest joke In the pizza business. We ordered from Grubhub and was quoted 35-55 minutes and 3 hours later still never got our food got notification 4hrs later that our food was on the way but still never showed up. My credit card was charged $95 and even the next day I still haven’t got the place to answer the phone. SAVE YOUR $$$ this place is horrible.

I came here to write a negative review but I see that it’s pretty much the only opinion voiced here already. I ordered a pizza around 1am, was quoted an hour and didn’t receive a call until 3:15 from the delivery person. The next day when I contacted the restaurant the owner was extremely rude, refused to talk to me (he must be used to people calling for refunds), and told me he didn’t want to argue with me and to have a nice day before hanging up. Probably try to avoid this place at all costs.
