Hidden gem that I will go to every time I’m in Nashville! Everything is made to order, right in front of you. Fresh and delicious food, I had the Cobb salad and a bloody mary. (Made with a homemade mix). Couldn’t have been better. The staff is perfection. So welcoming and such a welcome change from all the tourist traps filling the city. Can’t recommend more!

It was a SUPER nice experience. Arrived randomly to find a local place for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I had the Latin brisket sandwich and wife had the Cesar Salad and both were excellent. I asked, Nick, the one taking order for a local bourbon and he recommended Ownby and it went perfect. I really recommend the place.

I ordered the hash. It was delicious and came out very quickly.
The only downside to this place is the lack of restroom. If you need to visit the facilities, you need to ask for a key, exit the building, walk down a long exterior corridor past construction crews, and visit a restroom shared by multiple businesses. I can't imagine coming here alone or with a child that would need any kind of supervision. How would you make sure someone wouldn't bus your table or screw with your food? Also iltheres only one key, so you have to wait for someone to come back from an LOTR-esque journey before being able to set out on your own.

This place has AMAZING FOOD. The staff is friendly and loving! The music is always on point. The mimosa, i get with lime jarrito, which is AWESOME SAUCE!

This place is excellent!!! Hungarian beef soup was phenomenal and the Reuben was the best. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. Staff makes the experience even better. Google seems to bury them when searching for restaurants, so we are happy to find them.

Best Rueben in the city & their Latin Dip is so good it’s mind blowing! The atmosphere is great, and the live music they have during the week is never disappointing. This place is a must try in Nashville!

This is such a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and a homey feel ran by a great family. Hearty delicious dishes made with care and every bite is perfection. I love the Latin dip and the Italian press. Everything I’ve had though has not disappointed! Amazing restaurant! You have to go.

The BEST brisket sandwich I’ve ever had! This was my first experience here and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. The flavors were everything and the staff was friendly and inviting. I’ll definitely be back.

Wow! Where do I start? Scratch made chicken pot pie... amazing sandwiches... and probably the best chocolate cake ever experienced. This will be the first of very many visits to Kitchen Downtown. 5-stars all around!!!
