Sam's Place

Sam's place is amazing! We have dined here at least once a week. For the past few months. I think my favorite dish is the chicken tenders meal. The breading is crispy and delicious and the chicken is delectable. The black beans and rice are probably the best I have ever had and I do not know what they cook their fries in, but it tastes like they were deep fried in heaven. My husband really enjoys the brunch buffet on Sundays. The food is always fresh. The bacon is incredible. I think we have decided to make this a permanent fixture in our lives on Sundays.

First time here. Salmon and black label burger were great. Flavor and preperation were on point. It is a sports bar atmosphere with 20+ tvs but it's not overly loud and chaotic (atleast not today) . Our server was wonderful and friendly. However the hostess had an attitude, she did seem pleased. She also did not set silverware on the table which caused us to wait to eat our food after it was delivered to table for several minutes. Everything else has been great and will return if we have the chance.

I got the grilled salmon (cooked medium) and it came with broccoli & dill tartar sauce. The salmon was delicious! It was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The salmon was so deliciously paired with the tartar sauce & the side of broccoli was the perfectly cooked, crunchy & tender. I also got a Greek salad, which was full of crunchy veggies & the lemon garlic vinaigrette was out of this world! I will absolutely be back soon.

Classic sports bar fare. I recommend the chicken nachos, burgers, and the gumbo when available. However, salads are popular and the Sante Fe chicken is surprisingly tasty. While the rice and beans are a worthy side, I recommend the loaded smashed potatoes with any dish. This is a solid local--beware the heavy kid crowd between 5-8 seven days a week unless you are one of these parents looking to satiate your starving child. Great place to watch games of all stripes and though the bar is small, there are tables nearby one can grab and feel separated from the dining crowd. Reasonable prices and consistent fare--what's not to like?

We frequent Sam's place quite often. The food is always top-notch. There is something for everyone on the menu. Their chicken tenders are so dang good, the Cajun pepperoni pizza is delish, and their fries are literally perfection. We have always had a great experience here. Great place to go if there is a game on you want to watch, too. TVs everywhere!
