The Southern V

Wow! Amazing food and very friendly service. We loved the chikn and waffles. The waffle is very large and the chikn was seasoned perfectly. We also loved the Chikn Bakon Ranch sandwich, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, vegan or non vegan. Got the sandwich Nashville hot and it was spicy but perfect. The baked beans were so good and sweetened just right. They don’t have hot coffee but we asked and they made it for us anyways, so nice. Highly recommended this place if your craving great southern food with the Southern hospitality. Indoor seating for 50 people, many people had preordered for pickup. Best meal we had in Nashville, it’s worth the drive to the north end.

A friend and I ate here this past Sunday, and it was DELICIOUS!!!! We both had the turnip greens (yum!), I had the the Nashville hot chik'n, and she had the "meat"loaf. They both tasted amazing! And yes, I ate sone of her meatloaf 🤣 The people who run the restaurant were friendly and sweet, and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you are in the mood for some good plant-based southern food, then you should definitely eat here. In fact, if you're just in the mood for some good southern food, you should eat here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars

The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was great- hot but not excessively so. The collard greens were the best I've had. The rubber crispy treat was incredible. I saw a few people with chicken & waffles and they looked amazing. I'll get that next time. You order with a computer, pick up, and bus your own table so I can't comment on the service, but everyone was friendly. Easy parking. You do have to pay for water though, that's a big minus for me. Still I will come back for the food every time I'm in Nashville.

I found this place while searching for a vegetarian restaurant in downtown Nashville. It's a couple of miles from downtown but worth the drive. I got the "chicken" strips with BBQ, mac and cheese and a cookie, all excellent. So nice to find a place that offers vegetarians more than fries or a side salad! Very clean, modern and comfortable atmosphere. One note: It's cashless and you order from touchscreens at the counter. Very easy, but may be intimidating to anyone not familiar with that arrangement.
