Smokey, tender, flavorful meats - I had the jumbo brisket sandwich & my friend had a pulled pork sandwich and they were DELICIOUS. Between the 2 of us we also had the green beans & cucumber salad and they were fantastic as well. Just under $22 for the generous sandwich, green beans, & fountain drinks. Don't be dissuaded by peeking in the front & having no seating - the majority of their seating is out back on an outdoor patio and upstairs in a dining room with windows overlooking Broadway. Several types of BBQ sauce - sweet & smokey was so good. Fountain drinks, BBQ sauce, utensils, napkins, etc are available both downstairs and upstairs. We'll definitely be back.

Omg!!!!! Does not even begin to explain how wonderful this place is. You will NOT leave Hungry, and you will NOT leave disappointed!!!! The food is absolutely phenomenal. The green beans are the best I ever had. The “greens” are the best my boyfriend has ever had and he’s from the south. That’s his favorite food. The Smoke sausage, and the smoked turkey are spot on perfect. Every single thing is awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful and informative and expedient. The restaurant and environment was very nice and comfortable. I will definitely make it a point to stop in here every time I come through Nashville !!!

The line was long but moved very quickly. From outside the door to sitting down was less than 5 minutes. The food was tender and DELICIOUS! The white cornbread was a very tasty surprise. We shared Brisket, ribs, chicken and turkey. Potato salad, cole slaw was a sweet apple cider vinegrette, green beans with ham and new potatoes, mac and cheese. Needless to say we have leftovers. Highly recommend Jack's.
