Worked here 40+ years ago while in college. Mr Fox was a great employer with great service and great donuts. Stopped in today to show it to my wife while visiting Nashville. Got coffee and an apple fritter. Just as good today as 40 years ago. Place still quaint, charming atmosphere and busy as ever.

Donuts were so good, we came back twice! We tried a variety of donuts between the two days during our trip. Our favorites were the glazed donut, Boston crème, and apple fritter. These donuts taste exactly how donuts should taste - freshly made, sweet but not too sweet, and delicious! Excellent prices. Customer service was amazing - we had a lovely experience both days. Miami does not have donut shops like this unfortunately. It’s a real, classic donut shop. We will 100% return when we come back to Tennessee!

I read about this place on a Nashville giant foods thread - and dang was I not disappointed. Notice the doughnut is bigger than the table. We got the Texas Doughnut with maple glaze - it comes in two sizes 14 & 18” (smaller shown) and probably was the best tasting doughnut I’ve had in along time. I went in expecting the texture to be hard due to the size but I was I was blown away how fluffy this doughnut was. I didn’t get to try it till hours later and even then - it was amazing in every way. Give them a 24 hour notice and bring your appetite! I would definitely order another one. On top of everything else - stellar customer service!

The best donuts in Nashville…and probably the best apple fritters I’ve EVER eaten! (And I’ve eaten my fair share all over the U.S.) They offer a wonderful variety of fresh cake, raised and specialty donuts, plus muffins, fritters, etc. and they are priced very reasonably as well! The service is excellent, courteous and very helpful. I generally get a couple dozen donuts when I visit and freeze the majority so I can enjoy them when the cravings are overwhelming…which is frequently. :-)
