Bavarian Bierhaus

We were greeted promptly by our server and after a brief wait ordered drinks. The server brought drinks for 3 of the 4 in our group, but we had to call him back to the table to get the fourth. Then there was a very long wait to put in our food order, though the food was delivered quickly once ordered. Not really clear whether there were kitchen issues or a server problem, but the service issues detracted from an otherwise enjoyable lunch.

It was absolutely perfect! Jessica and her team we wonderful and everything could not have went any smoother if I had done it myself. We were coming from out of state for our son's wedding and this was the place they chose for the rehearsal dinner. The food was great with plenty for everyone. Atmosphere and space made it easy to mingle and see everyone. Our hostess was awesome and everyone absolutely loved her. Definitely would do again, thank you to Joe, Jessica, and everyone else involved.

I had the Sauerbraten and my wife had the Chicken schnitzel. We both had fries and a side of sauerkraut. The food was amazing. They make the Sauerbraten by taking a chuck roast and marinating it in spices and an acid like wine or balsamic vinegar for days in a cold dark place for days. They then braise the beef in the marinade. It comes out fork tender and has a slightly sweet taste that pairs well with the beef. As good as the Sauerbraten is the chicken schnitzel was even better. The variety of spices they used in the batter makes your mouth feel alive as soon as you place a piece in it. It was a joy to consume and my wife raved about it. The sauerkraut was cooked well and had little bits of ham in it which enhanced the flavor. The fries were cooked well but had too much salt which is an easy fix for next time we will just ask for no salt on the fries. The atmosphere was fine. The whole place is designed like a large Octoberfest party hall and the house band played a lot of hits as well as German polka. They started with a Jimmy Buffet song paying homage to the late artist who had just passed away. It was a great show. Our server was wonderful and took his time guiding us through the menu and making sure we always had everything we needed. There are lots of dishes we want to try and so my wife and I are planning to come back here to make this our spot for various special occasions.

Went with a large group of people (10). Waiter was friendly and explained easily the different German foods and drinks. He was great separating the bills, taking photos with us and of us. The musicians were fun and talented. A woman that played accordion and sang and a man that accompanied her on multiple instruments. The foods were delicious and authentic. It was a fun filled, yummy evening for our whole group!

I wasn't sure what I was getting in to when I asked for a brewery that wasn't far off my route but I was pleased with the destination. The Bavarian Bierhaus is styled like a German beer tent at Oktoberfest with long benches, a stage for the usual oom-pah band and lots of waitresses wearing drindls. A menu of pretzels, sausages, potato salad, and the like. Oh, and beer. I ordered a half liter and spent about an hour here as I had a bunch of emails that couldn't wait until later. I did manage to find one of the only power outlets, which is against the wall near the "beer garden" that is just a deck overlooking the parking lot. Service was friendly, the beer was cold, the wifi worked well, and after a bunch of focused emails out, I was good to go. I need to get back for some spaetzle.
