Amerigo Italian Restaurant

Overall we had a good experience at Amerigo Nashville. Food was amazing, quickly came out and were lucky for having an amazing waiter to support us. Another highlight is the fact that they have free parking. We figured that this is not that common in Nashville. So, lots of positives and I do recommend this place if you want a good pasta without having to expend a lot of money for this.

So we enjoyed the food so much, we went back 2 days later. The first time we had the Fettuccine Al Forno and Lasagne, with a caesar salad on the side. The 2nd time we decided to forego the side salad, had starters (crab cakes, and meatballs) whoa the size of the starters!!! We could barely manage to start the mains (both had lasagne) and ended up with a box to go. Staff were friendly and it wasn't too expensive, just watch out for the portion sizes!

Stopped in for dinner on a quiet night. Staff was friendly and service was great. Food was mixed. Bread was dense and herby, oil mix was okay but herbs seemed... soggy? The breading in the calamari and the hot chicken was the same, like it hung out after being fried too long. The marinara was excellent, really the star of the show; the pesto was weird with the calamari but felt good with the bread, the bolognese was just okay. The meatball side (which was in marinara) was also excellent. The hot chicken fettuccine alfredo had great flavor and well proportioned.

One of the best steaks I’ve have ever eaten. That flavor and that garlic butter sauce. Wife’s lasagna was also out of this world. The meatballs for the appetizer were outstanding. The service and servers are also amazing. Mia was our server and she was on point. Very friendly and attentive. First time here but you can be assured this will be on the list every time we come back to Nashville. Bravo Amerigo.

Decided to try try this eatery outside of downtown and was pleasantly surprised at how awesome this restaurant was. We were greeted quickly and seated immediately. The service staff was super pleasant even on a busy night answering all our question. We arrived in time for the early pricing which is was incredible considering it’s the same size serving as the regular items. We both had Caesar salad and lasagne which both exceeded our expectations. If you like Italian food, fair prices and awesome service be sure to check out America.
