The Yellow Porch

Todd was so kind, charismatic, and helpful! The Vegetarian Risotto was bliss- the vegetable stock was rich and flavorful. The truffle fries (obviously hand cut 👍) were crispy and salty and accompanied by a lovely Sriracha aioli. The Brussel sprouts were also fantastic- a boozy cherry, a bit of whipped goat cheese, and a crunchy walnut all melt in your mouth. Highly recommend for date night or a night out with friends. You'll actually be able to have a conversation! The patio also looked really fun.

Nice and quaint, food was good but not the best I've had in Nashville. Service was good, but took forever to actually get our order in. I would give it another star if I felt like either of these won me over. Atmosphere good. Reminds me of Midtown Cafe, and I like it a lot more. I would go back 1 more time, but just not sure this location would even get another star if I did.... Still...., Try it, see if you get 5 stars. We had fun, but it was because of the people we were with.....

The food was very good, I got the lamb and my wife got the salmon. First time I’ve ever had lamb and I’m hooked. Very tender and used simple ingredients to make a wonderful dish. It’s a neat little restaurant and highly recommended eating here. The restaurant is very small and you can easily miss it if you’re not from the area.

We've gone here for several years now. We enjoy the quiet atmosphere and amazing food. Tonight I had the vegetarian risotto. It was amazing! 😍 They gave a generous portion of mixed vegetables, the risotto was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was the just incredible. I miss the vegetarian lasagna, but this risotto was the bomb! Others at my table had chicken, the filet, and a burger; and they all enjoyed their meal. I would definitely recommend.

The menu here is outstanding. We had the Halibut special and seafood paella which was delicious! This restaurant is in a hidden, strange location but I’m sure the locals love it. The restaurant has eclectic decor, with artwork displayed for sake by a local artist Shon Hudspeth. The outdoor patio could use a refresh but it’s quaint, and is interestingly disguised with grape vines to block out the busy street views and noise.

I haven't eaten here in a couple of years and now I'm kicking myself! Seriously. What was I thinking? I had the pan seared salmon with mussels, shrimp, asparagus and risotto and it was nearly a religious experience. The creme brulee was the perfect finish! I only wish I lived closer so that I could explore their amazing wine list to pair with the scrumptious food. If you live in Nashville, do yourself a favor - go eat at The Yellow Porch as soon as you can. If you come to Nashville to visit, dining at The Yellow Porch is a MUST DO!
