Burger Republic

We decided to make this our first stop in Nashville after travelling all day. It was a short walk from our hotel to get there. It was a mild night, so we decided to sit outside. The outside eating area is nice and decently lit and the waitress was friendly and helpful. As far as the food goes, it was decent, no the best but certainly not the worst either. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was dry, but not bad. My wife had the Classic burger and it too was okay. One bad thing about eating outside, it there was a rat running around about 15' from our table outside. I understand, when you're in the city, they are there. It didn't bother us, but I thought it was worth mentioning, in case it would freak you out, like it did my wife.

The answer is yes--choose this place! We went for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The drinks were incredible and the food was amazing. Order the cold brew martini if you're stuck on what to choose. Two thumbs up. Great portion sizes (enough to leave you full but not so much you'll be left carrying a leftovers box) with incredible flavor. I ordered the blue cheese salad and had no regrets choosing the salad over the burger because I could barely tell I was eating a salad. We sat outside and the vibes were incredible. Lots of people watching to do in a lovely sitting area. Jade was our server and absolutely made our day. He was fun, pleasant, attentive, and fast. Easily the best service we've had in ages. The food was delicious. Grilled chicken sandwich was on point, juicy and well cooked. Tennessee burger was also amazing, recommend it! Our server, Libby, was super attentive and nice! The food did not take long at all, but it was only 1pm so it wasn’t too busy. They allowed us to sit in the outdoor patio with our dog and provided him with a doggy water bowl during our meal. The menu has lots of options. Got ourselves a Nutella milkshake and it was just perfect. Everything about our lunch date was great. Recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to eat!

So I passed by here and kind of went oh look a burger spot I'm not going to waste my time eating here when there are so many great places on my visit...I was wrong! Do not skip this burger spot it was amazing!! The burger was juicy and a mouthful, cooked exactly the way you ask for, the different buns include a GF option. My favorite part of my meal was not the beer, not the burger not the milkshake but the sweet potato tots! Just perfect. Not burnt on any part, perfectly crisp and soft and fluffy on the inside. I would fly back just for the tots! FYI use the parking next door. If I remember you get a hour free parking via the app.

We were craving burgers for dinner, so we decided to give Burger Republic a try. Based on our route, we had 3 different locations to choose from. We chose the Downtown location based on others' reviews about great customer service. The reviews were spot on. We had a fantastic dining experience! Colin was super attentive and kind. When asked for a local beer recommendation, he was able to give my husband a few great recommendations without missing a beat. I ordered the Shroomin' burger with sweet potato tots and my husband ordered the Big Papi burger with fries. The Shroomin' was seasoned perfectly and cooked to a spot-on medium. The Big Papi was also delicious. My only critique is that the sweet potato tots were not fried crispy enough for my liking, but I know personal preferences can vary when it comes to tots. They were also very dog-friendly. We had 2 dogs with us and sat in the outdoor patio area. The manager brought water bowls out to them right away.
