Don Empanada

Wow! I discovered this place by accident whilst looking for a bar in the old town. I enjoyed some of the best empanadas I have ever had and had to keep going back during my stay in Malaga. Hand made and oven-baked they had a lovely pastry coating and delicious filling. I thoroughly recommend the pollo/chicken ones in particular, although the meat ones and spinach ones were pretty good too. They were only 2 euros each so great for a filling snack or a few for lunch and much cheaper than some of the fancier looking places in the area also selling empanadas. The lovely lady who owned it told me they had only recently opened. I really hope this little gem does well and it is well worth seeking out in the Old Town if you are hungry!
