Seetharam Snack Center

I don't think we here at Dombivli have a restaurant which serves authentic, home-like South Indian food. Yes, I agree there are Udipi restaurants around, but unlike them Seetharam is quite diverse in its menu and quite warm in its service. I had the chance to eat a full rice plate, dal wadas, and a cup of coffee. I loved them all. The food was freshly prepared and served almost immediately (-- in disclosure, when I say immediately, I should mention there were just two other patrons at the time I was at the restaurant). The atmosphere here is quite functional and non-intrusive -- I never felt a sense of hurry at any point of time. This attribute is quite important for me especially when I am alone and wanting to have food not just for the stomach but for the taste. The only drawback, I feel, is the price of the food. This isn't criticism: I am not saying the price is high, I am just saying the quantity offered for the price could be more. Overall, Seetharam's a must-visit restaurant regardless of whether or not you are into South Indian food.

Only and only South Indian.... Pure taste and variety of South Indian dishes.... Dosas, utthappas idlis rice payasam everything is available... The taste is pure South Indian.... The place as seen from outside quite small...there are stairs down to take you inside... it's big enough for 100 people.... Entire basement is occupied with SSC.... The location is also easily noticable and approachable.... If you love South Indian dishes... this is the place to visit at least once.... Happy Visiting....
