Adarsh is one of the oldest restaurant cum bars in Chembur. It is also one of the only manglorean style food joints. But it is as a bar that Adarsh really shines. Over drinks try the mandeli fry or bambil fry, squid sukka, and the egg bhajiya. The veg bhajiya platter is also crazy good, but watch out for the chilli bhajiya; unforgiving Another alltime favourite side while drinking is chakli and schezwan sauce. If you are going to eat then the kori roti is a must have. The kori roti is a chicken curry with crisp rice roti. You pour the curry on top of the rice roti , wait till it soaks in and then eat it. The chicken is normally a village chicken, but you can ask for "English chicken" to get broiler. Another to try dish is the fish curry and rice. Adarsh is excellent for 2 or for a large group. The service is excellent and one has to be careful not to "repeat" too many times.
