This store/restaurant gets 10 stars. Everytime I go I get delicious food, and great pan dulce. They also have good crochet yarns that I can't find anywhere else. They make fresh handmade tortillas...so delicious. They also have all types of food and a restaurant in the back of the store with decent sitting space. They have great cucumber and lime water.

Nice little hole in the wall. Pretty good tacos if you dont mind the wait. No a.c. while you dine. An plan on waiting for your small an fast taco cause here it lacks the fast. But overall not a bad place to eat on the west coast. Of course it's not north carolina dinning an/or tacos thou.

Been going there for over Forty years! Food is the Best & Service is Great. If there is a wait it's worth it. You have to remember if you want it at a certain time then Special order. It does take time to cook!!!

This place was very busy when I went. Sunday morning. I wanted to get French bread (bolillo). It was a HUGE strugle. There was people fighting for this bread. Every time they pull out a tray, these people looked like a herd of wild animals trying do devour a pray. It was awful. I cant believe how much demand this bread has.

Pricy Authentic mexican carnitas and bread!! The reason why I have given them a 2 star is because they don't have nutrition lables at all on any of their store/restaurant made products. They dont lable prices on bread which is really annoying because they have charged me up to $5 for a single pan dulce!! *other mexican stores have good quality authentic pan dulce for less than $1 most of the time. Their receipt is very hard to understand when youre buy bread so they can rip you off.. I have kindly asked if they could ask the cook for nutrtional value of certain food items and they lied!!! Personally I think they have the best carnitas in town so far, but for example we had some family come over out of state and we wanted to have authentic mexican carnitas so we thought we would go get them from there. We asked if the carnitas contain any type of sugar or nuts in them due to someone that is diabetic plus severe allergy to nuts. Usually carnitas shouldn't have sugar or nuts but we just wanted to be safe. So they asked the cook and he said no they are sugar free and nut free. Well we got home and served, happy that everyone could enjoy the carnitas when the person was allergic to nuts had a severe reaction immediately after eating and their blood glucose was very high later on during the day. Thank God they had epinephrine with them and it was just a scare. We talked to the manager about this situation and she clarified after that they did not know what their food contains because they hire different people to cook every week.. So they do not have a specific recipie... We made her find out if the carnitas had nuts and she said yes and also they add a couple of 2 litters soda of Coca-Cola or Pepsi or orange juice... So they are not sugar free! She didnt even apologized for their mistake.. After finding out all of this I'm not sure if can trust their products...
