By no means a very fancy place but the great food and service make up for it. They have a huge assortment of steam table dishes including Kobe checking, chow mein and the list goes on and on. I think their specialty is the little boats that float around in the serpentine around the lunch counter with With plates of sushi. Better than that you can order whatever sushi rolls you like it as many times as you like.. Your buck goes along way here. I’ve been here several times and I’ve never been disappointed

We came to this place at lunch, around 11:30am. They open at 11. This is a decent buffet. There was a limited amount of “Chinese” food out. The sushi rolls had minimal amount of fish in it. All of the rolls on the revolving belt had no raw fish on it.
Overall it’s an ok buffet. I gave it a three star because of the decent food and expensive price.

First time here and what a well kept restaurant. The staff was very nice and helpful, and even the restrooms were very well kept. The sushi boats had many choices and very delicious. So wa la a buffet, I thank the heavens I was thinking covid would discontinue them. The staff was on it keeping everything clean. The amount of items to choose from was wide many tasty foods and a salad bar a Mongolian bar and dessert 🍨 bar. My only complaint is alot of the items were warm not hot kind of a bummer. Overall all was.good.

Service is amazing and friendly. Food was beyond exceptional and I've ate sushi for years at some of the top restaurants in San Francisco and elsewhere. I have family from Japan and had made sushi at home myself, and I've owned three coffee shops so I can tell you this place is clean and very well managed. We have taken friends here on special occasions, my wife and I do our date nights here, my daughter and I have our sit down and enjoy each other's company session... I guess you could just say my whole family loves this place. Met the owner Kevin wants and a very very nice person. All the staff are kind. They're very good at accommodating people with disabilities, again they are friendly. I would recommend not eating for a day or two prior going because you're going to love every bite so much you'll want to try everything.

I'm not a sushi fan, but my kids are. My son recommended a few items to try. I was NOT disappointed. They also have a Chinese & Mongolian BBQ buffet too. Delicious food and great service.

There aren’t many all you can eat places anytime, much less really good ones. We travel all the way from Stockton to come eat here which can be 30-45 minutes each way. Do yourself a favor and wait to sit by the boars…fresh sushi going right in front of you whatever you want.

I drive from Stockton to Modesto to eat here. About 75 miles round-trip.
The little sushi boats float in front of you and you can choose whatever you like. And as much as you like. Or you can sit at a booth or a table.
You can order whole sushi rolls also. Included in the price!
They have a Mongolian barbecue which I never tried but it looks good. Also the Chinese buffet with an assortment of soups, Chinese dishes steamed buns, chow mein and desserts.
They used to have little cups of ice cream for dessert, but no longer. I miss those.
You really can’t go wrong here. It’s a decent place with decent food. Not gourmet but you won’t go away hungry.

After looking at reviews for several different sushi buffets in Modesto we went with this place because the ratings were a bit better than the rest. But the food was very disappointing. The eushi was old and all tasted the same. The non sushi options were also old tasting and/or flavorless. The one thing I did like was the catfish fillets in ginger sauce. Everything else was gross. We paid almost $200 for 6 people and it definitely was not even close to being worth what we paid. There are other restaurants in the area that taste way better. And guess what? They didn't even have ice cream! Lame. We will never be coming back here.
