Dynasty Garden

The food was delicious! Fresh and hot, and flavorful. They also checked in to see how we were doing, and gave us recommendations for certain foods, such as the fried rice and pan-fried noodles which were really good! I would visit again, but definitely with a larger group to share food! The baked BBQ pork buns were my favorite today.

Only dim sum spot in Modesto. Some dishes are hit and miss but overall they do a great job. I haven't dined in for a while (covid) so I can't speak on the service, it was good when we use to go. Yesterday we ordered out and everything was really good besides the chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, it was watery and I'm guessing it was from the steam from the travel back home?

BEST DIM SUM IN MODESTO! Very authentic, on the same par as the dim sum in SF. Such a nostalgic feeling when I come here! It’s a small family run business and I am happy to spend my money here. The food is … I’ll say it again, AUTHENTIC , and fairly priced, so it’s very busy on the weekends for brunch which makes me happy that Dynasty is enjoyed by many. I usually opt for take out. Note that on weekends during brunch, takeout can take up to 40 mins but I have ZERO issues with that, just plan accordingly, it’s 100% worth the wait every time! They usually have mostly everything on their dim sum menu. All my favorites are always available! I used to go with my mom brother and grandma to the Tea House in Chinatown, SF for dim sum brunch every weekend when I was a little girl. Coming to Dynasty brings back those wonderful memories. Been coming here for years spending average of 50+ every time, last night's total 76$ and the food was absolutely terrible every single dish tasted old, our cheese puffs were a joke with nothing inside of them, not even chop sticks and hot sauce was given when asked instead just got passively shooed away even after spending that much. Forget wasting money here, you'll just be regretful.

I'm not sure what happened to this restaurant! I've ordered from Dynasty many times but, recently the food has become very bland and any chicken dish I've had had chewy and hard bits that instantly turned you off to eating further. Even my favorite appetizer, the cream cheese wontons were mainly overly fried puff pasty with very little cream cheese. The only positive note from my last experience was the pan seared potstickers and the sauce. I am unsure if I will be returning to Dynasty Garden.

I’ve only been here once and it will probably be the only time. It is authentic Chinese food, but our food was not as good as expected . The staff are very slow and tend to sit at the tables eating in front of you. We had asked for boxes and they never came. We had to flag down another waiter to get us boxes. It was not busy at all and it just didn’t seem like they were focused on our experience in their restaurant.
