Velvet Grill And Creamery

It was my friends birthday and I asked him where he would like to go to celebrate, he chose the Velvet Grill & Creamery because he wanted to get the pork chop dinner plate. I wound up getting the broasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes an a salad for my sides. Two out of the four pieces of broasted chicken were pretty good (leg and breast) but the other two I didn’t really care for as they were a little rubbery (wing and thigh). If I came back I would probably try something else. My other friend got the meatloaf but mentioned he felt like it was all meat and was missing something to the flavor. The birthday boy enjoyed his pork chops. For dessert we each got ice cream, I got birthday cake and it was very rich & thick with flavor. My friend got the port (wine) ice cream but because the alcohol in it, it was a little watery though he still enjoyed it.

My wife and I eat here once a month. Their chicken fried steak 🥩 is soo delicious!! Hailey provides really good service. She has waited on us in the past as well as today and always makes our dining experiences enjoyable. Came here again 11/15/21 we have not been here for a while. The food and service never disappoints. I tried one of their homemade ice cream sodas and it was delicious! My wife had the breakfast combo, I had the sirloin dip with fries.

Me and my girlfriend have ate here a lot and they're really good comfort food but the most recent time we went here the food was awful. Our pasta was just filled with oil and greece. Our steak was a small thin slice of meat and they took forever to refill our drinks or get plates out of our way. By the end of dinner I made a tower of plates and cups which was very disappointing. I'd say go here for lunch because the end shift sucks

It was my first time eating here today, I ordered a bacon burger with fries and It was cold when I received it, i didn't want to be that person that sends a perfectly good plate back but I wanted hot delicious food. The waitress was super nice and informed me that some of the cooks were in training she also took my burger off my bill. Thank you cooks for the melting bacon cheeseburger the second time around. I'll be back to try your ice cream 🍨
