The Cheese Steak Shop

Location is kind of hidden in a back parking lot. The App does not have this location even though they have apparently been here for many years. “Your guess is as good as mine” As I walked inside I was not really impressed, the place was not really clean and at the same time not dirty either, just kind of blah. Honestly if my friend hadn’t told me to go I probably would have walked out. Now here’s where I opened the book and started reading C; They have an easy to read menu, I ordered the Large Motown “came with mushrooms + onions & peppers at no extra cost. Curly fries and a small drink $16.87 out the door. The curly fries are on par with the rest of the worlds curly fries 3.5 stars. The sandwich. OH MOMMY!!!!! BAH-IG-AH!!! Bread roll supper soft but not chewy, cheese, meat and toppings EVERYWHERE!!! The taste??? Hands down the best I’ve tasted in the valley thus far!! Normally I would have saved 1/2 the sandwich for later being it was so big but it slid down my gullet with ease as though it was just a small appetizer. Soooo good 5 stars for the sandwich all day long. Employees were friendly and of course made a mean sandwich 5 stars. I highly recommend this location

This is as close to a real Philly cheese steak you're going to get outside of the Delaware valley. They use real Amoroso's buns which are the essential foundation for a good cheese steak. You can choose the standard American or provolone cheese (no whiz), and add the optional onions and peppers. There are also pizza steaks and chicken steaks on the menu. As someone who has eaten around one thousand cheese steaks in my life I can honestly say these are pretty good and authentic

Today we ordered a King of Philly (10") and two King Cheesesteaks (15", one Garlic and one Mushroom). but all three were 10". Pictured is the "King" sized Garlic Cheesesteak with extra meat and extra cheese. Despite it looking incredibly dry, the flavor was good and it had plenty of garlic. However, I feel cheated as I definitely did not get what I paid for. My partner picked up our order and I forgot to inform them to check that two of the items were larger than the remaining one, otherwise I would have asked why I was charged for the larger size.
