Dosa Bawarchi

The food is amazing. Definitely visiting again. Country chicken biryani which is served only on weekends is really great. From my experience, I can say that all the rice items will be good. I haven't tried other items like Dosa & naans with curries. Surely I'll try next time. The whole time the Telugu music that they played was refreshing. :)

Dosa Bawarchi doesn't maintain consistency in their food. One day you would be delighted with the food and the other day it would be disappointing. Their Vijayawada special chicken biryani is my favorite.Watch out for lots of food color though. Overall service is average, I never had any bad experience.

Went, as my wife and I were in the mood for Indian, but wanted a good selection without having to order lots and have leftovers for many days, so wanted a dinner buffet. Their site clearly says they offer one. We got there, and no dinner buffet. They were pretty rude when we inquired about the dinner buffet and I pointed out their website says they offer one. I could understand not having the buffet, and maybe making a mistake with your website, but being rude to a customer when the mistake is yours... We turned around and walked out.

We came here for dinner after a long night of working. I asked the server to just bring me food that they would order. He was very thorough with his questions about my tolerance to spices and heat. I enjoyed the meal, service and value for the portions and authenticity. I recommend this place if you like authentic Dosa cuisine.

Th only reason ppl go to this restaurant is because Quantity is more. But, has a lot of problems....the Owner/Manager of this place acts as if he is serving food for free and rude...The taste is not that great except for one Biryani ....all others are nothing good as such. Be ready for a cold attitude and dwell like you are getting the food and they are doing a big help for you by running this hotel and giving food for free.

We came here a couple of times - food is OK, but the atmosphere is what really caught my attention. If you don't look out the window, you feel you could really be in a restaurant in south India. I would recommend Madras Cafe on El Camino Real if you're looking for really top South Indian food though.
