Most recent review: We love the flavor of food here, and have visited several times (see original review below). However, on our most recent visit, we had an unpleasant experience. While the service was good, we were served cold & dry Peta bread. As soon as I mentioned this, they served us hot and fresh petas - within a min. Not sure why they served us stale ones if they had the fresh ones ready or almost ready. Anyway, we were surprised but soon ignored and continued eating And shortly as we dug into our veggie Biryani, we saw a dead worm / insect in our food. I've shared pics. We abandoned our food and our server immediately got us a refund and apologized. While we appreciate the way they handled it, I'm now scared to go back to this place. I went to get water and in both our water cups after filling, we saw some particles floating in it. It seemed like dirt, so I discarded them and got new ones - which was better, but not the super clear water I expected to see. Was a bit hesitant to drink. The entire area around that place and what portion of the store room / kitchen corridor was visible, did not seem very hygienic. I'm not returning for a few months at the very least. And would recommend folks to pay attention to the food and water they consume here. I shared this with my server and asked her to share it with her chef / manager. I hope they take suitable action. Original Review from about 2 yrs back: A great place for falafel fans. Love their hummus & pita bread. Falafels were fresh and crisp. The Veggie Biryani was good too. Was spicy and yummy! The Kebab Platter could have had better veggies than tomatoes, but was good nonetheless. Got complimentary Baklava (thanks to a check-in on Yelp) and Tea! Look for the pics I've shared.
