Went here following all the rave reviews and just assume a lot of you are adding homesickness stars. Yes, the taste of the pizza is New York-ish, meaning the sauce and toppings are well balanced and the cheese is done right, but the meat slice I got was totally limp and droopy, impossible to hold, greasy, and not even the crust was crusty. So this place is halfway there. Fix the dough and you have an edible pizza. Right now it's like an ice cream cone only the cone is made of crumbled crackers dumped into your hand. For $5 (!) I really expect perfection.

I am from New York, living in Miami now but grew up in Queens. I have been looking for a slice of pizza that reminds me of NY pizza. I found it at New York Roma Pizza. The pizza reminds me of home. The owner is from NY and he knows what pizza is supposed to look and taste like. He and his wife are always on the premises making sure their customers are happy. If you LOVE GREAT pizza and you have the opportunity to go to NY Roma Pizza you should go. They are the BEST pizza place in town.

Miami is becoming the new New York, to include that wonderful flavor of new York pizza. This joint has mastered the craft and serve it up freely and with a smile. This is more of a family sharing than it is a business. You'll feel at home here.

When I came to this restaurant three years ago, the food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. I came to get pizza to go last night, the gentleman taking orders was not friendly. He was putting together boxes, using some type of cleaning solution to wipe the countertops and just touching everything and handling the food with them some gloves. I felt that was very nasty. When I got back to my hotel rooms and began to eat, the whole bottom of my pizza was burnt. If not for ordering wings I would have starved. The wings was awesome. The young who prepared them was very friendly. Next time I come to town I will just get the wings.

This pizza restaurant served the orders quickly. It's not really crowded, and the food was well-done as expected. It tastes really incredible and it melts my heart. I am deeply impressed by how their friendly staff handled the service correctly with no hassles at all. A five-stars satisfaction rating all the way. The best of the best pizza ever!

Favorite deep dish pizza in the bay area, and maybe better than the deep dish in Chicago (although I haven't had them close enough to each other to really compare). The cornmeal crust is the star of the pizza, although I'm a HUGE fan of the sausage that they put on their pizza. The place has a good vibe, and they usually have good beers on tap. Love it!

I love Little Star! I love Little Star! I Love Little Star!
Their cornmeal crust is perfect! Try the deep-dish Little Star or Classic. And try out some chicken wings too!

The pizzas are excellent! The crust is perfection. They take their pizza making seriously. The owner/manager is on top of everything. I would do it family style order a few pizzas and share on the table so you get the different tastes. Will be back.
