My family and I order regularly from New Village Chinese Food. Last night (Sunday night around 9 PM) we ordered but after a couple hours everyone started having stomach aches and then the diarrheas started. My wife, small kids and I, all sick. We got food poisoning. We were fine before the food, no signs or symptoms of anything. It was right after the food from the restaurant.
I called the next day still stomach sick, and asked to speak with a manager but the girl on the phone told me to talk to her because nobody spoke English, so she translated for me. I told them about my family’s experience, how the food was bad (poisoned), and asked them for a refund. But they told me (the girl translated, I could hear them speak Chinese between them), that they never had a problem with the food before and that their food had been inspected by some kind of food inspector, they even told me that maybe we got sick from something we ate before, so they didn’t say sorry or anything just that it never happened before, and tried to turn the fault of the bad food on me.
I told them to be careful so it wouldn’t happened to anyone else. Just hanged up after that because I didn’t wanted any arguments because I was still feeling too weak after a dreadful night of stomach aches and diarrhea. They lost a customer. Would not recommend.

Quite place with very less crowd. Food was nice and quality and quantity is worth for the money. Shrimp Mei hun was dam good.

Ordered delivery. Prices were too high for what I got. Less food than most Chinese places, more expensive than most places despite portion sizes, but the worst part was that everything was just really bland or dry. Tried giving a new place a shot but definitely regret wasting my money.

Pretty good "New York style" Chinese food. Lunch specials give you a lot of food for a reasonable price. For lunch, you get an entree with rice (white or pork fried) and one of the following: soda, soup, or an egg roll for about $7. Honey chicken is delicious. The chicken Lo Mein was good (lots of veggies and high quality chicken), but it didn't have a lot of flavor. The pork fried rice is very tasty though. Egg rolls are good; they contain chicken or pork.

Gets a star because otherwise I can’t comment. We ordered two quarts of bourbon chicken and what we got was burnt old chicken. Pieces were hard and burnt (horrible). It was disgusting, it ended up in the garbage. The special fried had no flavor and only had two pieces of shrimp. This is the second time we order from here and it will be last. Do not recommend this place.

The General Tso's chicken that I ordered today, weeeeellllllllllll had nothing to rave about. It was bland, tasteless and well a light orange not the usual dark reddish brown thatth flavorful and delicious. Been going there on and off for about 18 years...... All I'll say is CHANGE is good.

This place has the best fried rice and lo mein that I’ve ever tried
. Beats anything in Chinatown in NY. Give them a try!
