La Castanuela Miami

My husband and I stumbled into this lovely location on vacation and we were happy to do so. Stop in if you can. The food was excellent! One we let the server of meats know we did not eat pork, he made sure to only bring the other meats. However, there was a slight language barrier, and maybe there is no pork on the menu, lol. Either way, the service was great, and the fresh sides were my favorite.

First, service was nice for me. However, I felt disappointed by the low variety of buffet that has nothing to do with Brazilian food. The meat with bacon was a shame and the rice rock hard. The owners were seated in the front talking loudly and smoking inside, something not professional or respectful towards the customers at all. I will not be coming back.

Not what we expected, first we had a Groupon since we were visiting for the buffet which specifically says not good Friday and Saturday but nothing about any other night.. like Sunday. We couldn't use it because they had a special event even when I called to make reservations and they said I didn't need one, I even asked Google to make it for me and said only for ten people or more they request reservation. Also went to open table app but this particular restaurant is not in it. Then they let us in because we said something but once we were in they said we had to paid cover $60 each, we said ok but then food was not included we didn't know.. that's the whole part of buffet at the Brazilian steakhouse since they bring food to your table, we had one bottle of water and four alcoholic drinks was and one plate of hot meat close to 250$ since the buffet was not an option and tip is included in price since they add it themselves. We been to other Brazilian steakhouse houses and I can say for sure this was not the same. Not upscale, only Spanish speaking. Mostly for locals.

Disappointed, really bad experience. Bad service, restaurant shedule a private party and dont give us proper attention, also waiting for meat was long time almost 10 minutes per service, I have to share the meat in my table because service personnel do not did it. They dont allow to eat lamb because of the private party. Only we received sausage, and one time pork, chicken, and cow. Meat was without flavor. Salad bar was limited nothing good.Tips was obligated 18% of the bill. Do not try to go to this place. Is better the one in Hialeah

This place was not even worth a Groupon. Im not sure if the guy that checked our Groupon was the owner but their food along with his attitude explains why there were no customers. The meat was all poor cuts of meat drenched in grease. Basically everything was just doused in grease and cooking wine and lacked any type of flavor. Our waitress was polite but it was just not a good place at all. The dessert 4 leches was okay that's about all we enjoyed. As for the mojito I ordered, I had to crusy the mint leaves in myself. Save yourself a headache and stomach ache and go to any other steak house. It you Google this place you will see there is another Google review page that shows they are 3 stars. How misleading.

Took my Parents to dine here yesterday. The waitress was terrible and the food got us sick. My first time there was excellent (pre-pandemic) but I don’t know what happened. The waitress is lucky tip was included, I would have given here the minimum, I mean below 15%. Besides getting sick, what will make me not ever go back here is that waitress.

Just called the restaurant. Someone answered in Spanish. I was talking in Portuguese, because they're announcing as Porto Alegre Brazilian Steak House. I asked if the speak Portuguese and if the restaurant is Brazilian. The lady told me no. I was going to try this restaurant for the 1st time today with my family. Not anymore. Not a authentic Brazilian Steak House.
