Le Chat Noir

If you want to travel back in time back to the 1930's golden jazz era, this is the place to go to. Le Chat Noir is located downtown in a place that might not be noticed during the daytime, but stands out like a glowing time machine in the night time. The entrance is subtle, yet it draws you in. When walking in the venue, you'll find yourself with amazing taste for decoration (Which I will not describe because it'll spoil the surprise.) There is a top floor where everyone eats and waits for musicians to prep. Once musicians are ready, you are brought down politely to this beautiful basement that's considered a listening room. Be very quiet! As owners and musicians take that room title seriously for good reason; who wants to listen to music over people's loud conversations. In short , The venue is unique, amazing, staff is trained, food is amazing, wine selection is great and your night will not be disappointing. If you want to listen to real authentic JAZZ then this is the right place. It is in Downtown Miami with the tables and ilumination of a proper jazz bar, great sound but the piano a bit out of tune. Food is good standard and a good selection of beers from Italy and a variety of wines Service was very friendly and good. Is A perfectly cellar the type you can find in Paris or London.

This jazz club is magic. Have been here a couple of times and will repeat for sure. The atmosphere is dark and romantic. Genuine & authentic musicians and very good service. A must for music lovers. Only complaint is that they don't have Whisky but it's compensated with their wide curated wine cellar. A gem to have this in Miami*

This place was super chill. The music was good and the service staff friendly and accommodating. Four stars because I did not eat AND there is no wine list. You must choose based on what they have on display. It was dark when we arrived and this negatively impacted our wine selection. Very tight basement space and you enter and exit in front of the stage. Very unpretentious, which is a cool bonus.
