Santa Fe News & Espresso

Was meeting a friend I had not seen in over 6 months and both of us were hungry. We settled on Santa Fe out of the various choices in BCC as we were somewhat familiar with the menu and knew it was fast and reasonably priced. We self-seated and the server approached quickly with menus in hand. I ordered grilled salmon and some vegetables and resumed my conversation with my friend. Food appeared promptly which led to a pause in the conversation as we nourished our depleted bodies. The food was good and served it's purpose though not especially flavorsome, hence the star rating above. The decor is cafesque and bright and inviting. On this and on prior occasions the servers and other staff are welcoming and friendly. I'll be back as it is a convenient local spot.

The eggs Benedict are really delicious, I got the Lox. The cappuccinos are very good also. Service is quick and I never had any problem with the service I received. Some people seem to have had a bad experience but I didn't experience anything bad. The blueberry muffins are also very good. They don't open very early though so don't plan on going here for your morning coffee until after 9am.
