Portobello Restaurant

Today I had an amazing lunch break not only because of the delicious food but excellent service. Walked in a few minutes before 12 and had the place all to myself for a short period of time. Regardless I can tell the service here is top notch because the owner is most attentive and friendly. I didn't really have a dish in mind like most times and that worked out for the best because the dish I had was a special of the day so let's talk about it.... There were three options including a salmon dish but the chicken stuffed with chorizo and mozzarella got my attention right away. Before this I had the choice of portobello cream or Caesar salad and I opted for the salad with basket of toasted bread. Now as for the main dish, this was so delicious that I had to ask if it was a daily fixed menu but chef said the daily specials were chef inspired even though she could make it for me per request. Anyway this chicken with chorizo and melted mozzarella was to die for. The chicken meat was not tough at all but could be cut with a fork and that says a lot. Now as for the pasta or spaghetti I wish I could tell you what was in it but what I could tell you is that it had depth and was amazing. So good that I could eat a whole plate of the pasta without a protein, yes that good and that's why I devoured this dish, like a savage. Now I did kinda wanted to try the Tiramisu since I'm a big fan of it but they didn't have any and that too worked in my favor…..why? Well I got to try the Flan, my goodness....this has got to be one of the best Flans in Miami. I can't even describe it but iust make room for dessert and order this, trust. In conclusion, this was one of those unexpectedly amazing lunch spots. Have to come back for other dishes and that Tiramisu.

I have been eating at Portobello with my business partner for close to 10 years. The food is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the owners are amazing. They are friendly, hospitable, and the food is great. If you want a great local neighborhood where you are made to feel welcome. Portobello is the place to go.

My Wife and I are lovers of great food. How the owners of Portobello cook for their customers is beyond satisfaction. I HAVE EATEN THERE ABOUT 4 TIMES...my birthday at 71. my mother in law birthday occasion. she is 84 and she ate too much.. and the other times were just for fun dinners great cooking every time. Having Fun with Family and Friends.... WONDERFUL GET TOGETHERS WILL HAPPEN. AND GREAT FRIENDSHIP THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE FOR MANY YEARS.

We have been to Portobello on a few occasions and they never fail to exceed your expectations. The service, atmosphere, food is amazing. The actual owner is always very involved and greeting everyone. We happen to go this Valentine with a group of 6 and it was every thing we wanted and more !!! You guys are amazing. Definitely recommend.
