Akashi On Brickell

We order delivery from here a few weeks ago and it was so yummy that we had to visit the restaurant. It has a super cute patio area with faux cherry blossom trees and plenty of seating and our service (shout out Wilson!) was excellent! We started with Octopus Banditos and truffle edamame. The octopus was a bit rubbery and the sauces didn’t do it for me, but the truffle edamame was sooo good. We also had the Two Timing Tuna Roll, Hamachi Jalapeño Roll and Hot Stone Wagyu beef HIGHLY recommend all of these!!! I appreciated that they did not bring everything out all at once. They spaced it out where we could enjoy each item before the next was brought out. Wilson told us at their happy hour they even have BOGOs on rolls, apps, and drinks!! The food was incredible 🔥 😋, service was great and prices were very reasonable! Will be back soon _____________________________ One month ago— Ordered the Hamachi Jalapeño Roll (truffle oil and yellowtail? yes, please!!!) AND the Part Time Roll (sweet,savory and crunchy outside) for delivery from here. They were both incredibly delish 🔥🔥🔥! There’s a number of rolls we plan on trying next. Highly recommend this place for their uniquely yummy rolls!

The food is tasty, but the Happy Hour spicy tuna roll came out a little misshapen. At the end of the day it’s all going to look the same post digestion, but if you care about the presentation, it’s not the fanciest looking, My rec: Go for happy hour and snag a bucket of beers for $20 which is a bargain in this area! I’d avoid sitting outside if you need WiFi, the connection speed is slow. Try some of the fusion rolls: I’d never personally choose to include plantains in my sushi, but I asked for a suggestion and it was delicious. The wait staff are all super nice and also bilingual (English y Español) which is a huge plus!

Visited here b/c the restaurant I originally wanted to visit wasn't opened until 7. The staff was incredibly friendly and I mean everyone was super nice! My server was Sebastian and he was awesome-- warm, friendly careful and sincere. He gave a few recommendations (although he was new) and the food was absolutely delicious!! As the restaurant was a bit empty after we ate my BF chatted with Sebastian about stocks! We def will be back! This place made us feel like home and were very welcoming.
