Lady's Bar Coffee

4July 2020.This is now a newly opened restaurant called Portofino, and I have to say what a brilliant job Roman and his enthusiastic staff are doing. I have been going to restaurants in Cabopino for over 17 years now and this prime site which uniquely overlooks both the harbour and the beach has somehow always seemed to limp along, until now. This is authentic Italian cuisine, genuine Tagliatelli Bolognese, ( not spaghetti), a dish with hot pasta stirred in a half Parmesan cheese, which i have only ever seen in Bologna. ( maybe i have lived a sheltered life). There is much else to try from the extensive menu. The decor has all been revamped, the staff all very attentive and cheerful. On this my first visit there was live music by @zingduo who played brilliantly starting off with music not too intrusive and later ramping it up as people decided to dance. A super evening. I will be back
