This place was recommended as the best chippy in Leve however this was a Large Fish and Chips (£7.45) which tbh I felt was a tiny portion of chips, it was tiny! Fish was slightly overdone and tasted a bit old. I'm actually totally gutted. What Chips and peas were that were there were good though.

Great food and wonderful chat behind the counter. Typical Manchester friendliness coupled with good value and quality fried food. Even my mum loves the fish and mushy peas (and that's a compliment believe me)! Parking is a pain, so best to walk if you can.

I visited with friend and found the sausage and chips to be really good. My friend bought fish and chips which was equally good. Nice people and a good product. I recommend Trawlers as a good takeaway chip shop at a reasonable price.
