Mezzopotamia

Had dinner for 2 here, two days ago. It was our first time and we had a reservation. The ambience was nice and we were served by Tugay who had excellent customer service. We had calamari and prawns for starters. Then We had the mixed grill platter which had chicken, lamb, etc and I loved the sauces. We also asked for chili sauce and it was hot but good so take note. We had no desert because we were full. It was not crowded and definitely a good experience.

Nice restaurant, really good service, there was a gentleman - shaved head that served us, such a pleasant man. Also, a girl that was serving that was so respectful. We were very pleasant surprised by something that she did🥹 The food.... vibrant and colourful, but sooooo bland. Definitely not for people who are used to even a mild spice level. Not slating the food at all. I would return just for a very pleasant dining experience.

This was our first time visiting so wasn't sure what to expect. We went to Turkey for the first time last year so wanted to try a Turkish restaurant near us. The girls who are serving seem very young but they were friendly and efficient. We had stuffed vine leaves for starter and my fella had the mixed grill, I wanted to try my favourite from when we were in Turkey which is the Beyti kebab, it could've been hotter but it was ok and it didn't detract from the taste. My fella enjoyed his mixed grill and said the meat was really tender. We had a lovely chat with a really nice member of staff in there, he was from Marmaris, near where we holidayed so it was lovely to chat to him. The restaurant is decorated to a high standard and is laid out well, it will be nice to go back in the summer and sit in the outer part. It's not the cheapest restaurant but you get what you pay for. All in all, we had a lovely night and will definitely be back.
