Friska - Oxford Road

Great place for great food. Lovely Cafe to stop by and has friendly staff. The food was great however i could of ate a bigger portion. The prices are average aswell as getting 10% student discount ontop of the original price. Nice environment however i orefer a place more unique. Would of got 5 stars if there was something more special with the business.

If fresh, fast and fulfilling food is what you fancy, head on to Friska Perfect for students and pretty much anyone, Friska is a venue with a chilled atmosphere in a good location. Roasted Cauliflower & Dhaal [£5.95] - Soft, easy food that goes straight down and with the additional hit of pomegranate, the flavours are plentiful. Red Thai Chicken Curry Hot Box (Not Halal) [£5.95] - Pleasantly surprised by how well this worked. The red thai curry sauce was spiced to the right level and all the items complement each other really well from the chicken thighs to the veggies and rice Latte [£2.65] - Very smooth latte that wasn’t harsh at all and you can tell that care has been taken to select the right beans Vegan Brownie [£2.25] - Did not expect this to be good, but boy were we wrong. I came here today from a deaf supported house with my deaf college and deaf service users, to my surprise and delight, one of their staff could use BSL! This made a massive difference to our day out and gave my deaf service users a massive sence of belonging and confidence in being able to order their own dinner! Food was delicious too.
