King Donuts

WARNING: King's Donuts is taking no Covid-19 safety measures As a treat for the family I thought I'd get some "not Dunkin" donuts. Reading some reviews, I brought my son with me to pick up a dozen King's Donuts. In a very small space, there were six patrons at the counter, no masks or social distancing. The presumable owner came out from the back, no mask or gloves. I should have left right then, but I don't know. He got me a dozen donuts, again no gloves, just a piece of wax paper. Then he placed the piece of wax paper IN MY BOX ON TOP OF MY DONUTS. The final kicker? Cash only. They have a shady ATM machine that charges an extra $2 to get cash. I paid a premium for a box of donuts I brought home and microwaved in hopes of killing the virus. My son (15) said after, "So those are the anti-mask people everyone is talking about. Scary."

Great donuts! We picked a variety of raised, cake, glazed, unglazed, and they were all delicious. Our favorite ended up being the sour cream donut. I haven’t had a proper tasting one since childhood, theirs totally brought me back. Plenty of parking, reasonable price, friendly staff too. Can’t beat ‘em. Skip the Dunkin’, come here instead.
