Not sure why this place is getting so many bad reviews but it seems like there has been a review for months so I’ll update everyone. I come here every day for lunch since I work in the mall and I’ve never had a bad experience. The level of consistency I’ve noticed with the subs and fries is impressive and I’m always left happy with the food and how it tasted.

Amazing food, though not what you would get in Philly, do not go in expecting that... you're gonna have a bad time. I consider this more of an alternative to D'Angelos or Nadeaus, and for that it's great

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Ordered through Ubereats, order was cold and completely wrong and missing fries. Called the store and said hey my order was missing items, the employee responded with an attitude filled okay and then proceeded to hang up on me. Tried calling back for about half an hour and the line was magically busy.. tried again 45 minutes later and it was still busy. The wonderful employees must have left the phone off the hook.
TLDR: terrible food, terrible customer service. 0 stars

Their billboard says #1 cheese steak in the world, I wouldn't even give them best in New Hampshire. As someone who's had Geno's and Max's , Charlies left me disappointed. The food wasn't bad, but I can do the same thing in my kitchen with some Steak-ums and a sub roll. However I will say that the staff was friendly and patient (while waiting for my 6 year old to make up her mind), the cooking station appeared clean and sanitary. So not a bad experience....just not the number 1.... Not even close.

Ordered two subs - one without cheese - and a large strawberry lemonade. Guy gave us a small lemonade and got kind of snarky when we told him we had ordered a large.
We got the subs and thank God we checked them because my husband’s sub had cheese. I went back to the counter and they remade his sub.
When we got out to the car, I told my husband to check if they gave us our fries - they had not. So I had to walk all the way back to Charleys and get fries. They gave us cold, disgusting fries because it was closing time.
The worst part is - the employees didn’t apologize and didn’t even act as if they had messed up. I will never go there again. Terrible customer service!

Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review for any particular restaraunt, but i had to for this one. After ordering one of the sandwiches, I came to find out that there was very little meat inside the bun. The bread was very mushy, and the cheese... it was awful. Also, the customer service is really bad. They didn't give me any time to think over what I want, and just kept firing questions at me over and over again. I heard this place is a great restaurant, as many of my friends recommended it to me, but I was very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend at all. Very, very disappointed.

Really awesome steak!! Not too pricey either!! Wish there was a little more meat on the bun, but it's definitely not empty. Fries are like a 3.5 out of 5. Really great meal to get while in the mall shopping, wouldn't go out of the way for it though :p

I ordered some food using Door Dash. All in all, I think they're ok. But the there could be more meat on the subs given the price. I also found the bacon cheese fries to be a bit too salty, and moist.
The lemonade is delicious and refreshing!
