Buffet for 30 for a wake. Good selection of food hot and cold including vegetarian and gluten free gests. Nice cream cakes. Including tea and coffee. Plenty left over and they provided containers to take away so it didn't go to waste. Would recommend.

I had a very nice prawn sandwich with great chips and a dressed salad, and my 2 friends and I shared a very lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio.

Staff friendly, pub clean and bright. Nice but smallish beer garden. A good place to waste a few minutes waiting for the infrequent bus service. Family friendly and situated close to a supermarket, post office and pharmacy so good place to relax after shopping.

I just wanted to thank Adam and all of the staff at the Early Bird for helping us to give my late wife Brigitte a lovely send off on Thursday. The staff were compassionate and kind and couldn't have been more helpful. The coffee and tea service and food was excellent and the fact that we were not rushed at all took a lot of stress off me on the day. Thank you all . Really outstanding service - Mark Pearson

Christmas party lunch in week loved it food hot well presented plenty of it doggie tray taken home service excellant from start to finish one of party ill so could not make it voucher kindly given for deposit so we can return and we certainly will thankyou to all friendly staff who made our lunchtime special
