Other than the price. It was really good. Left full. Spacious and cute place…. It’s right by the lake. Staff was friendly and chips and also were tasty. Might go back for drinks specials.

Went here for the first time and the food was amazing! Got the birria tacos... delicious!!

First time here since moving to Madison almost a year ago, husband and I got the birria tacos and they were fantastic! Somewhat expensive but that's expected these days. Staff was friendly and were having fun and joking together but still doing there job. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy. Would recommend and will be going back!

Forgot to take pictures BEFORE I dug in. This is hands down. The closest authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Madison. I’m born and raised in Cali and finding good Mexican food has been a challenge. I’m definitely returning here next time I have a crave for Mexican food.

I went to Compadres for the first time with 3 family members. We all were impressed with the restaurant.
It was clean and the decor was great.
The food was exceptional, tasty and worth the price. The menu had many of regular Mexican fare. As well, it includes many items that are made only by them.
I highly recommend Compadres!
