At Sushi

Good sushi at a beach side village. The menu is a little pricey but items are fresh. We enjoyed the house salad, oysters on a half shelf paired with sea urchin and fish Roe, mixed tempura, along with some rolls. It tasted very good. There is inside and outside seating available. Service personnel are nice. Food is prepared at a quick pace compared to other spots.

I’ve been coming for years and realized I owe this establishment a long overdue review. Last night I ordered chirashi, sashimi 9 pc, shrimp tempura, sake and garlic edamame to go. @sushi offers the freshest, most generous- sized cuts of fish. The bluefin is so good, I consider it dessert. There is a creative menu of cut roll options- we usually order 4-5 of these and share as a table for the family. The service is always amazing, matches the food. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel appreciated and welcome. It feels like you are in his home, Japanese hospitality. Best sushi in LBC. There’s always a wait, it moves quickly but is totally worth it. Outdoor (with optional heating at each table) and indoor seating.

Came for my sister's birthday. We called ahead of time and the young man said he would put us on the waiting list. He was so nice and that was a great start to a great dinner. We ordered California, Philadelphia, tuna, eel, and baked salmon rolls. Not going to lie, we ate 4 rolls in 5 minutes. We ordered 4 more and with that we ended the night. Dinner was amazing, servers were friendly and environment was clean and relaxing. I definitely recommend this place. Prices are also reasonable.

@ sushi was incredible! The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and detail oriented. I hate to be that person but i couldn't resist taking a picture of our food because it was definitely Instagram worthy! On top of being taste approved, the owners' genuine pride in his restaurant is unmatched! He doesn't just serve food, but creates an artsy experience for his customers by explaining the region of the imported fish being served . Lastly but certainly not least, i must rave about the server Monse! Monse was the most AMAZING server EVER! She was extremely attentive in making sure we had everything we needed before we even requested it. She was friendly, professional, efficient, and just an overall pleasure to speak with. Although she was masked we could literally feel her smiling, and that type of service is rare. I don't have any recommendations because everything was delicious 😋 but if I was forced to choose I would say the Mexican was my favorite, thanks Monse for that recommendation!
