Seki K Restaurant

I usually always give high scores unless something isn't right.(the food saves this score from a lower star) We got there at 720. They close at 8. We sat down and my friend went to the bathroom. At 730 my friend got back to the table and the waiter came to take our order. We said we might need a couple minutes. He said and I quote, "actually I have to put the order in now before we close." Again, they close at 8 in 30 minutes. We went along with it and my buddy said he would be ready by the time the three of us ordered. Then the waiter said, " yeah, you can speed read it" in reference to the menu. Crazy. We were nice and didn't say anything. And still tipped well. I worked in restaurants. I used to hate when people walked in at right at 9 when we closed. But guess what? We served them and did so nicely. The food is great though. No arguments on that side. I've been there a few times and have never had a bad experience with food. The chicken hot plate and sweet potato noodles are always good.

Omg. I tried something new with this pork and tofu dish, and it was sublime. Although it is cooked with kimchi, the spice is not over powering at all as it is offset by a subtle vinegar-tasting ingredient. It is succulent and delicious. I almost stuffed myself to death trying to finish this delicious dish! My husband's bulgolgi was also amazing!

i ordered the jajangmyeon (i've seen it on social media and wanted to try it) and it was amazing! one of the best korean dishes i've tried. my sister ordered the japchae and we shared the chicken tteokbokki and it was all very delicious! the atmosphere was comforting and lowkey as well, and since the restaurant is inside the asian market, we also had the chance to shop there
