Heavenly Donuts

Very best little coffee shop in Lawrence, MA. Have been coming here over 10 years. Cute little coffee area decorated very welcoming, never crowded, always friendly staff, TV on for dining area. Very clean, one of the only restaurants I am comfortable eating in. They are open early and have wonderful fresh bakery items (my all-time favorite is Heavenly Donut with no jelly - light vanilla frosting filling.)

The service is awful. Every time I go in there’s an issue with my order. One time it took them my while 30 minutes of lunch to make my sandwich all because they forgot about it. I go in for one simple item, took them 15 minutes, because they didn’t get the sticker but someone orders a sandwich and gets it before my croissant.

My orders keep getting worse and worse. Order bagel extra toasted, get a bagel not toasted .. order iced caramel coffee with no sugar, get loads of sugar sitting at the bottom, today was the last straw when I ordered egg and cheese sandwich with peppers and onion.. my sandwich had raw onions with red hot pepper flakes. I give up, the staff doesn't take that place serious and I feel bad for the owner because it would be a great cafe if there was better service.

Warning... do not go to this store. Took me half an hour to find a parking spot I walked five blocks in the rain. After placing my order I attempted to pay with my cherished heavenly donuts gift card given to me for my birthday just to have Francisco tell me they're not accepting gift cards at this store because the system is not set up yet. I paid with cash . So when I went back one month later I was not surprised that the system still is not accepting my card. Francisco should be fired.

Don't order for delivery ever! We called and ordered a bakers dozen and got 12 donuts and they gave us the cheapest donuts they had and we ordered muffins and didn't get what we picked and they were the smallest I've ever seen. We ordered Danish and it was also smaller than anything we've ever ordered. If you order see if you can send them to Methuen if you live in Methuen. I keep trying with ordering cause I don't have a car and they send the drivers to Lawrence and Lawrence isn't a good place to get food from anywhere that we ordered and the food isn't hot by the time it gets to you. It's not what you asked for either. I don't even want to give a 2 cause it's horrible!! Don't do it! It'll cost either the same for a taxi or less and you'll get everything you want. It's not the drivers, it's the place you order from online and they need to have ppl get their food where they live instead of across the next city. It doesn't make any sense how they run this.. we feel bad for the drivers cause it's not their fault at all.
